Lion of Punjab: Diljit in theaters on 11th Feb, Music Release on 11th Jan 2011

He captured the attention of young audience with his small guest appearance in ‘Mel Karade Rabba’. Now panga guy Diljit is finally ready to hit silver screen as lead actor in and as ‘Lion of Punjab’.
His brother Pirti told Just Panjabi that film is complete after post production and will be released on 11th February, 2011 with aggressive promotional campaign. It is a good news for the fans of singer Diljit that music of the film is going to be released on 11th January 2011 if everything goes according to plans.” , added Pirti.

The biggest USP of the movie is Bollywood director Guddu Dhanoa, the maker of many action films of Sunny Deol. He is debuting as director in Pollywood with Lion of Punjab. According to sources, Diljit is playing a character named Mukhtar Singh, a desi villager young boy. His character is extensively powerful and near to reality that every modern Punjabi youngster can relate to. Charming bollywood diva Divya Dutta and upcoming actress Pooja Tondon is playing a vital role opposite Diljit. Vindu Dara Singh is also in the cast and would be seen as Sikh police officer. Film is targetted towards fun loving youth of Punjab and mixed with fun, emotion and action to pull audience to box office. Diljit is also featured in another forthcoming Punjabi movie ‘Jihne Mera Dil Lutiya’ along with Gippy Grewal. Punjabi Janta is expecting Sunny Deol style hardcore action from Diljit and Dhanoa. They are eagerly waiting to watch a turbaned Sikh hero on big screen. Will Diljit fulfill their expectations? This will be discovered only in February.
